How does the interest-free period for a credit card work?

There are many myths about using a credit card. For example, paying with a credit card is disadvantageous because you always pay big interest. Do not believe everything that is said and see with us the benefits of credit cards. With Asto Finance Bank you have a so – called interest – free period of up to 54 days. You do not pay any interest at all during this period. As a result, the credit card is an ideal way to borrow interest-free money from a bank.

If your bank offers you a credit card, it means it considers you a solid client. The credit card will not be automatically received by anyone it likes, but only by a trustworthy solvent customer. Unlike a debit card, when you pay with a credit card, you draw money from the bank, not from your own account. And if we trust you, then rely that you too can trust us.

And what about the interest-free period?

And what about the interest-free period?

For non-cash transactions with Asto Finance Credit, we lend you up to 54 days without interest.

And this is how it works:

1. First, when you set up the service, you choose when you want to receive a statement of transactions. The date of repayment and interest-free period is derived from it. We will automatically send you a transaction statement stating the due date every 30 days.

2. You pay by credit card

3. You will receive a statement according to the date of your choice and from the date of the statement you have 24 days to pay back Amounts borrowed.

4. The total interest-free period is thus a maximum of 54 days. We therefore recommend that you set your statements so that the statement day + 24 days is issued just after the payout. This will ensure that you always have money in your account to pay back the amount you spend on your credit card.

For example, if you always have a payout around the 10th of the month, you can set a statement date around the 20th of the month. You will always receive a statement on the 20th and pay the credit card by the 14th of the following month. When the end of the interest-free period falls on a Sunday or a public holiday, the due date is postponed by a day and the installment needs to be paid only on Monday or the first following working day, respectively.

If you pay the full amount due by the due date, you will not pay any interest at all. With us, you can automatically set up your credit card repayment within the application, or change it at any time in Internet banking and you do not pay for it. So you don’t have to think about paying interest, we’ll do it for you. How to do it?
